Overview
Established in Karachi in 1978, The City School is today one of the largest private school networks across the globe. With more than 500 schools and over 150,000 students, we continue to expand our reach in other countries including the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, the Philippines, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, to meet the demands for quality education as well as to ensure a strong global presence.
The knowledge and skills-based curriculum derived from the UK national curriculum guides students from Nursery to Cambridge International Examinations (CAIE), qualifying them for the IGCSE, and O and A Level examinations.

Criteria:
The City School aims to instill a consistent set of values in students across Pakistan. Whether your child joins us in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, or Kashmir, our mission remains the same: fostering regional pride alongside a national identity that unites the country. Our philosophy of tolerance and diversity prepares students to engage with local communities and excel in international academic and career opportunities. Grade placement depends on the child’s age as of 31st July (for August sessions) or 28th February (for March/April sessions). All academic sessions are divided into two terms.
Admission Procedure
Enroll in 3 Simple Steps
1. Registration
Choose your preferred registration method:
- Online: Complete registration online and a campus representative will contact you
- In Person: Visit the school office to submit the admission form and schedule the test and interview
Note: Registration is open throughout the year. Registration does not guarantee admission.
2. Admission Test
Playgroup to Kindergarten: Assessed on reading, vocabulary, understanding colors and numbers, spoken English, confidence, and motor skills. Class I and Above: Written tests and interviews evaluate readiness and comprehension.
3. Documentation
Required documents to submit with the Admission Form:
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Attested copy of Birth Certificate
- For transfer students: report card, provisional certificate, and character certificate from previous school
After submission:
- Receive fee structure, appointment card, registration receipt, and prospectus/newsletter
- Test results shared within a week via registered contact information
- Admission fee challan and payment instructions provided upon acceptance
