The Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute (SZPMI), Lahore, has been a cornerstone of medical excellence since its establishment in 1986. Originally founded with its primary teaching component, Shaikh Zayed Hospital, the institute has evolved into a comprehensive multi-disciplinary academic hub. In 2009, the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical and Dental College (SKZMDC) was added, further expanding its mission to provide high-quality medical and dental education. Today, the institute integrates specialized components including the National Institute of Kidney Diseases and the Shaikha Fatima Institute of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences to offer a robust, integrated learning environment.

Eligibility and Merit Standards
- Minimum 60% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with mandatory Biology and Chemistry.
- Passing MDCAT score: 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
- Valid Punjab Domicile for local seat consideration.
- Submission of essential documents including CNIC/B-Form, Domicile, and Educational Transcripts.
