About Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS)
The Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) in Lahore is a premier public medical institution established in 2003 by the Government of Punjab. Initially functioning on the Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) campus, SIMS has since transitioned to its own dedicated premises at 6-Birdwood Road. Attached to Services Hospital, the institute provides a self-financing undergraduate medical program recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC). The college boasts a faculty of the highest academic rank, with ongoing infrastructure developments aimed at making it a world-class center for medical education equipped with modern technology.

Admission Eligibility & Selection
Entry Requirements
- Academic Standing: Minimum 60% marks in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent.
- Subject Competency: Mandatory passing of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics.
- Entrance Test: Valid MDCAT score as per current year regulations.
- IBCC Equivalence: Mandatory for all O/A-Level or foreign applicants.
- Punjab Domicile: Required for open merit and provincial reserved seats.
- UHS Merit: Adherence to the centralized merit list managed by UHS.
- Disability Certification: Government-certified specialist proof for reserved disability seats.
