About Memon Industrial & Technical Institute (MITI)

Memon Industrial & Technical Institute (MITI), founded on May 31, 2009, is a leading vocational and technical training institute dedicated to empowering youth through practical skills. Established under the World Memon Organization (WMO), MITI offers a diverse range of courses in technical trades, IT, multimedia, and home economics for both men and women. From its initial 7 trades for men, MITI now provides 32 trades for each gender, with programs ranging from short courses of 1 day to 2 months, 4-6 months, and 1-year diplomas. Accredited by NAVTTC, TTB, STEVTA, SBTE, and City & Guilds, MITI combines hands-on training with recognized certification.

Institute Mission and Growth

The institute expanded its facilities in 2012 to accommodate growing enrollment, operating three shifts?morning, afternoon, and evening?to ensure accessibility. Today, MITI graduates approximately 1,500?1,800 men and 3,000?3,500 women per batch, with over 100,000 alumni having earned certificates and secured employment or started their own ventures. Initially serving the communities of Landhi Korangi, Shah-Faisal Colony, and Malir, MITI now welcomes youth from across Karachi, providing highly subsidized fees and scholarships for deserving students. The institute is committed to continuous growth, aiming to meet market demands and contribute to Pakistan?s skilled workforce, with a strong focus on charitable and educational impact.
