Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (KIET)
Founded in 1997 by the Pakistan Education Foundation (PEF), the Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (KIET) was established with a commitment to providing affordable, high-quality education. The institution reached a significant milestone in May 2000 when it was granted a degree-awarding charter by the Government of Sindh. Shortly thereafter, in June 2000, KIET entered into a strategic partnership with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to establish its primary campus, blending academic rigor with professional discipline.

Admission Requirements
Eligibility and Application Standards
- BE Engineering: 60% in HSSC Pre-Engineering or 70% in DAE.
- BSCS / BBA: Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent.
- Mandatory Aptitude Test (40% minimum passing score required).
- MS/PhD: Minimum 2.5/3.0 CGPA and valid NTS-GAT score.
- Successful Panel Interview for final merit list inclusion.
- Online submission of Rs. 1,500 application processing fee.
