Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU)

Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) is the largest medical university in Sindh, Pakistan, established on June 1, 2012. Beginning with the historic Sindh Medical College, it has rapidly expanded to include eleven specialized institutes covering Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Nursing, Oral Health Sciences, and Physical Rehabilitation. The university currently manages over 6,000 students across 20 affiliated programs, offering clinical training at premier national facilities such as the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) and the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD).

It was the first public sector medical university in Pakistan to implement computer-based examinations, free campus-wide Wi-Fi, and extensive e-learning platforms through the Pakistan Education and Research Network (PERN2).
