Government Sadiq Egerton College Bahawalpur
Government Sadiq Egerton College Bahawalpur, founded in 1886, is one of Asia's oldest and most prestigious government colleges. Initially offering intermediate courses, the college expanded over time to include BA programs and began teaching science in 1927. By 1955, it received approval from Punjab University to offer BSc classes. The college celebrated its centenary in 1986, marking a century of academic excellence and notable alumni contributions in education, literature, civil service, and sports. In recent years, it introduced M.Sc. and other postgraduate programs, and since 2010, it has been offering four-year BS degrees across multiple disciplines.
