Historical Overview and Academic Growth
The college, founded in 1945 with just 109 students, has progressively expanded its academic offerings over the decades. It introduced F.Sc courses in 1950, B.Sc. programs in Chemistry and Physics by 1960, and postgraduate/master?s programs from 1986. In recent years, starting 2019, it launched BS (4-year) programs across multiple disciplines, providing students with comprehensive undergraduate education options.

Required Documents and Criteria
- Fresh candidates may apply for first-year classes; students with failed subjects are not eligible.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) required for students from other boards besides BISC D.G.Khan or BZU Multan.
- BS (4-Year) applicants must have completed intermediate or equivalent education with at least 45% marks in major subject and overall aggregate.
- Merit is based on aggregate marks, subject marks, and 20 additional marks for Hifz-e-Quran.
- Discipline-specific eligibility: BS-Botany (F.Sc Pre-Medical), BS-Chemistry (F.Sc Pre-Medical & Pre-Engineering), BS-Math (F.Sc Pre-Engineering, ICS), BS-Physics (F.Sc Pre-Engineering, ICS), BS-English/Urdu/Islamiat (F.A, F.Sc, ICS, DAE, D.Com), BS-IT (F.Sc/ICS/DAE Electrical & Electronics/F.A General Science), ADA/ADS (F.A, F.Sc, ICS, DAE, I.Com, D.Com).
