Founder of FGS
MRS RAZIA YOUSAF SAIGOL (LATE)
FGS was started by Mrs. Razia Yousaf Saigol (Late) in 1979. The worthy ex-directress was an educationist of repute and had dedicated her life to serve the cause of quality education for the prosperity of future generations of Pakistan.
Heritage
Faisalabad Grammar School was started by Mrs. Razia Yousaf Saigol (Late) in 1979. Initially, classes 3 to 5 were run with only 30 pupils, 3 staff members, 2 ayas, and 1 office boy. The aim was to produce a wide spectrum of subjects for Matric and Cambridge International Examination (CIE) Ordinary Level (O-Level) students.
In 1982, after inspection by the British Council, FGS received Cambridge O/A Levels, CIE numbers PK 205 & PK 206, and was permanently registered and recognized by Faisalabad District Education Department. By 1985, FGS produced a promising batch of Matric and O-Level students achieving 100% results.
Today, FGS has 5 branches, nearly 2500 students, and 250 teaching staff, earning respect for its social responsibility and academic excellence.

We are committed to developing resilient and adaptable students who love learning, accept challenges, and strive for excellence.
Modern 21st-century education methods are applied across all English-medium courses, fostering national pride and respect for all cultural norms. Students enjoy a broad curriculum and a myriad of extracurricular activities in a happy and supportive environment.

FGS aims to be a leading, innovative, yet affordable school. We have introduced a fully computerized EMS system, updated syllabus, modern pedagogies, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and global partnerships such as Nordic International School. Teacher training is enhanced via the Innovative Teaching Institute (ITI).

Required Documents
- Completed Admission Form
- 2 Photographs (2” X 2”) of the child
- Birth certificate / B-form (Copy)
- School leaving certificate (Original)
- Medical fitness certificate (Original)
- Proof of any chronic disability, disease or allergy i.e. asthma, polio, epilepsy etc.
- N.O.C (If transferred from another board of education)
- Handwritten application from parent stating whether interested in studying Cambridge or BISE
- Copy of NIC of both the parents / guardian
- Previous class results
Entry Tests
- Students will be tested from 4 subjects – English, Urdu, Mathematics and Science.
- The required passing mark for entry is 55% for each subject.
- A copy of the syllabus can be obtained for the relevant class from the Admin Offices.
Note: Admission is given on the merit of admission test, interview, and completion of relevant documents. The school reserves the right to refuse admission and this decision cannot be challenged.
