Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Karachi, holds a distinguished legacy as the first professional engineering college established in Pakistan's private sector. Founded in 1962 by philanthropist Ahmed Dawood, the institution was envisioned as a cornerstone for national industrial development. Since its nationalization in 1972 and subsequent elevation to a full university in 2013, DUET has expanded from pioneering disciplines like Chemical and Metallurgy to a comprehensive range of engineering, architecture, and emerging technology programs. Located in the heart of Karachi, the university operates across its main campus and the Iqbal Campus, maintaining rigorous accreditation from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and PCATP.

Criteria:
Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Admission Policy
- Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate (HSC) Pre-Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Mandatory clearance of the DUET Pre-Admission Entrance Examination.
- Candidate age must not exceed 25 years by the registration deadline.
- Submission of online application through the admissions portal including fee payment.
