Aligarh Institute of Technology Overview
The Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), established in 1989, is a premier Polytechnic Institute offering comprehensive theoretical and practical training across multiple technical disciplines, culminating in the Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education. Rooted in the educational philosophy of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and the Aligarh Movement, AIT continues the legacy of promoting academic excellence, unity, and innovation in technical education.
AIT provides a variety of diploma programs in fields such as Software Engineering, Bio-Medical Technology, Electrical and Electronics Technology, Computer Information Technology, Civil and Mechanical Technology, Architecture, Mechatronics, and Chemical Technology. Recent additions include one-year Diplomas in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Media Science, as well as a two-year Diploma in Business Administration. In addition, AIT offers an accredited BS and MS in Computer Science & IT in affiliation with Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology.
